Norled is always aiming to give our passengers the best possible travel experience onboard any of our vessels. The Covid-19 (Corona) virus is now spreading in Norway. We would like our passengers to pay attention to the following advice in order to prevent further spread of the virus while onboard one of our vessels.


Norled Appoints New CEO Heidi Wolden

Norled, one of the largest ferry and express company in Norway announces the appointment of a new CEO, Heidi Wolden. She succeeds Ingvald Løyning who stepped down from the role of CEO in February.


Norled launches a new shipping flag

Modern, forward-looking and maritime were descriptive words when Norled recently launched its new shipping flag for the company's over 1,000 employees. The Stavanger-based shipping company was sold to new owners in the summer of 2019, and thus needed a new shipping flag since the existing one remains with its’ previous owner, DSD.


Partners receive PILOT-E support to develop liquid hydrogen supply chain for maritime applications in Norway

Norled is member in the project that aims to build a complete liquid hydrogen supply chain in Norway for maritime applications. The project has been awarded a grant of 33.5 million NOKs from the governmental PILOT-E scheme


Elisabeth Grieg new chair of the board of Norled

Elisabeth Grieg will take over as new chair of the board of the Norwegian ferry and express boat company Norled AS. Grieg represents extensive experience from the maritime industry and will strengthen the company's strategic leadership in a phase of strong growth and significant investments in new environmental technology.


First electric Nesodden boat in place in Oslo

After three months of intensive rebuilding, the MS "Kongen" is now back in the Oslo Fjord - loaded with a 26 ton heavy battery pack. Norway`s largest car-free passenger connection has this summer taken a big step towards becoming zero emission. It marks an important contribution to the goal of a zero emission Oslo Harbor.
