On 01 January 2019 the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) introduced their national AutoPASS Ferry Card. This replaced the Norled ferry card, with a transition period of 6 months. As informed during that change, holders of a Norled card could apply for a refund of remaining value in the card for a period of 3 years after the change.
As of 01 July 2022 no refunds are given.

«Verdikort som blir ugyldig pga. tekniske endringer i billettsystemet refunderes kostnadsfritt i 3 år etter dato for ugyldighet. Etter dette anses verdikortet som verdiløst»
